Digital Sharing Devices

Send data to multiple devices from one device, bi-directional data sharing

The MSD-4, PT# 101012 Modem Sharing Device is designed to allow RS-232 DTE (terminal) devices to share Leased Line and Dial line Modems or communication Ports. Data arriving at the Master Port is continually broadcast to all Sub-channels. The attached terminal device that raises the RTS control signal is automatically given control of the MSD. Data rates of up to 19.2Kbps are supported.

The RS-232 Digital Mixing Module (DMM-4DC) or port sharing device is a network expansion device for modem sharing or port sharing applications in polled or contention environments. The DMM-4DC allows up to four devices to share a modem / DSU or computer port. The port contention modes are RTS, DCD or switch on Data. Any combination of terminals and modems may be used in a network environment. Each port of the DMM-4DC may be selected as a DCE or DTE interface.

The Digital Mixing Module DMM-4 is a digital sharing device or network expansion device for modem sharing or port sharing applications in polled, contention, SCADA and broadcast environments. The DMM-4 allows up to four RS-232 DCE or DTE devices to share a Modem/DSU or computer port. Each port is DCE/DTE selectable and has an 8 bit tail circuit buffer. Data rates of up to 128 Kbps are supported.

The Digital Mixing Module DMM-X21 is a X.21 digital sharing device or x.21 port sharing device for modem sharing or port sharing applications in polled, contention and broadcast environments. The DMM-X21 allows up to four X.21devices to share a modem or computer port. Each port is DCE/DTE selectable and has optional 512 bit tail circuit buffers for each port. The Device also supports multiple port broadcasting and fall-back and forward clocking. Data rates of up to 1.024 Mbps are supported. CE APPROVED for Europe.

The Digital Mixing Module DMM-X21 is a X.21 sharing device for modem sharing or port sharing applications in polled, contention and broadcast environments. The DMM-X21 allows up to two X.21devices to share a modem or computer port. Each port is DCE/DTE selectable and has optional 512 bit tail circuit buffers for each port. The Device also supports multiple port broadcasting and fall-back and forward clocking. Data rates of up to 1.024 Mbps are supported. CE APPROVED for Europe.

The Digital Sharing Devices are designed to allow high speed V.35 DTE (terminal) devices to share Leased Line and Dial line Modems or DSU's. Data arriving at the Master Port is continually broadcast to all Subchannels. The attached terminal device that raises the RTS control signal is automatically given control of the DSD. Data rates of up to 2.048 Mbps are supported.
