Additionally, the unit now supports RS-232, 1.2k, 2.4k, 4.8k and 9.6k over a 16K clear channel sync communications link, such as a wireless radio link.

The async interface is RS-232 compliant and the synchronous channel is V.11 compliant. The unit supports async character length of 8, 9, 10 and 11 bits, including the start and stop bit.
