East Coast Datacom, Inc. a leader in the design and manufacture of Network Latency Emulators announces VLAN support for the popular WanRaptor™ Network Emulator. The new software release allows users to create multiple VLAN tags on two LAN Ports that form a trunk during emulation. Each VLAN Tag on this trunk allows its own emulation settings for impairments such as Latency, Loss, Jitter and Re-Ordering. The product also supports full Link Emulations for 10/100/1000, 10/25/40G Networks.

The WanRaptor™ has an easy to use Graphical User Interface(GUI) and also supports a REST API. Additional features include changes-on-the-fly and four selectable latency types such as Constant, Uniform, Exponential and inter-packet-delay for testing streaming video.
