East Coast Datacom, Inc., a leader in the design and manufacture of communication products, announces a large install in the financial data markets. The European financial market has installed the EDS-10G in a demonstration test lab and for major distribution of financial data. The EDS-10G network latency emulator was introduced into the financial data stream to even the latency times between local and distant customers. The EDS-10G install allowed the financial data trading times among all users to be fine tuned evenly.

A new version of the EDS-10G was introduced with dual redundant power supplies and an IPMI management port with SNMP to monitor the EDS-10G hardware health. Additionally, East Coast Datacom, Inc released a new version of software to support 8-Ports of 10GbE traffic per server that is tuned to multicore Intel XEON processors.

The completion was not able to compare to the EDS-10G 8-Ports of 10GbE network latency per chassis. The EDS-10G order has been installed and is performing perfectly.

The EDS-10G now ships standard with a web GUI interface, Command Line Interface and the new Script Interface for automated testing environments supporting network impairment testing.
