East Coast Datacom (ECD), Inc., a Florida-based data communications accessory specialist, announces 20Mbps speed capability and Integral Fallback Switch options for the DBU-V11 data broadcast unit.

The DBU-V11 is an eight port data broadcast unit with a high speed V.11 interface, new product features are as follows:

1) Model: DBU-V11/20, The standard DBU-V11 is capable of 10Mbps and now users of MPEG2 data can now offer the cost saving benefits of our DBU-V11 data broadcast unit. The new 20Mbps option is available for immediate delivery. Our 4-layer printed circuit card provides the user with superior output signal quality. The unit has UL 1950, FCC Class A and is CE approved for Europe.

2) Model: DBU-V11/IFS, The new Integrated Fallback Switch option is designed for users of critical data distribution with redundant requirements. The DBU-V11/IFS provides the user with the option of selecting Data, Clock or the Control lead for fallback and fall forward operation.
